# GrantOps Application — How the Platform Works

The GrantOps application (https://app.grantops.ai) is the core platform for automating SR&ED claims and grant recovery.

## Getting Started

1. **Connect your tools** — Link GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Asana, Slack, or other development and project management tools via OAuth or API key
2. **AI activity scan** — GrantOps scans your connected tools and identifies R&D activities eligible for SR&ED and other incentive programs
3. **Review and confirm** — Review AI-identified activities, add context, and confirm eligibility with your team
4. **Generate documentation** — The platform produces audit-ready T661 forms, technical narratives, expenditure schedules, and supporting evidence packages
5. **Submit or hand off** — Submit directly or export to your CPA or SR&ED advisor for final review and filing

## What the Application Produces

### For SR&ED Claims
- Completed T661 form (CRA)
- Technical narratives for each SR&ED project
- Eligible expenditure schedules (salaries, contractors, materials, overhead)
- Evidence package with linked source data (commits, tickets, documents)
- Schedule 31 (Investment Tax Credit)

### For Other Programs
- IRAP project summaries and application drafts
- CanExport activity reports and grant applications
- Provincial credit calculations and supporting documentation
- Grant opportunity alerts and deadline tracking
