The Wage Subsidy measure is aimed at individuals who have difficulty integrating, independently, into the labor market and who would not be able to do so without this assistance. It aims for integration into a job which presents good possibilities of retention beyond the duration of the grant or the acquisition of transferable professional experience.    The subsidy serves as an incentive to the employer to cover the additional costs caused by the adaptation period and the lack of productivity of the new employee.
